LOS ANGELES (AP) — Jeff Bridges says he’s being handled for lymphoma and his prognosis is nice.
The 70-year-old actor channeled his The Dude character from “The Large Lebowski” in a press release on social media in regards to the prognosis Monday night.
He stated he understands the illness is critical. He expressed gratitude to his household, associates and medical workforce and promised to maintain followers posted on his restoration.
Bridges is a seven-time Oscar nominee identified for his roles in “Starman,” “True Grit,” “The Final Image Present” and plenty of different movies. He gained an Academy Award in 2010 for “Loopy Coronary heart” and was most lately nominated for taking part in a grizzled lawman in “Hell or Excessive Water.”
The affable Bridges is taken into account Hollywood royalty, the son of actors Lloyd and Dorothy Bridges, who each died in 1998.
