AJ McLean is coming clear about his 20-year expertise with habit.
The Backstreet Boys alum opened up about his sobriety journey in an interview with Good Morning America on Monday, Oct. 19, and revealed how his bandmates tried to get entangled after they realized about his habit within the 2000s.
“They principally broke into my home they usually dumped ice water on me whereas I used to be handed out in my mattress. Everyone began to catch on,” McLean shared. “I wasn’t me anymore. I used to be simply dwelling a lie.”
He admitted that his first encounter with medicine was proper earlier than he filmed the music video for the band’s 2001 track “The Name.”
“The primary time I attempted medicine was actually an hour earlier than my name time to ‘The Name’ video shoot. I used to be off the partitions,” the 42-year-old singer stated.
