ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — A brand new sculpture honoring navy girls and navy working canines is being unveiled exterior Arlington Nationwide Cemetery.
The life-size bronze sculpture referred to as “The Pledge” is being positioned on the Ladies In Army Service For America Memorial, positioned at Arlington Nationwide Cemetery’s entrance.
An unveiling ceremony is scheduled for Saturday.
The sculpture exhibits a feminine servicemember kneeling to satisfy her working canine.
The sculpture by artist Susan Bahary was commissioned by the U.S. Conflict Canines Affiliation Nationwide Headquarters.
